The numbers game

This video is an interesting way of doing multiplication that I've never seen before. Watch it, and you'll understand.

Here are a few interesting eBay auctions, such as one for 3 Sony Playstations... notice, that's not three PS3's or even one PS3... three Playstations. As in, PS1s. That'll teach you to read the descriptions, huh? Or how about one where the buyer goofed? Such as forgetting to set a reserve price. Though he says in the description you can Buy It Now for $1250, he apparently forgot to set a reserve for the auction... and the system sold for $9.99, plus $50 shipping. Someone just bought a PS3 for $59.99.
Oh well.

And look! That's me! Alas, no reviews yet.

- New York Times not impressed with PS3 - The bad reviews before launch were, well, bad enough, but a post-launch burn is definitely not a good sign for Sony.
- The Wedding Present Game - Wow.
- Post-Wii thoughts and observations - Lots of good stuff, few minor issues, but almost all of them (if not all) can be easily remedied with software updates, and are not really faults of the system but rather the online service.
- Goomba Stomp in Style - Best. Shoes. Ever.
- A positive Excite Truck review - I link this here because I had heard some not so great things about Excite Truck, but this reviewer likes it for the most part.
- Madden for PS3/Wii controls - I'm really interested in playing the Wii version of this.
- WiiConnect 24 Update breaking systems? - Be careful before running this. Hopefully the issue will be fixed soon, as in, before I get mine. :)
- The Legend of Zelda potential movie cast - Who they would choose if such a thing were made, and I tend to like their choices.
- Zelda Retrospective, Part 6 - They try to make sense of the Zelda timeline, and provide a very convincing argument, though I tend to disagree with a few parts, such as putting Link to the Past after the original Zelda; the whole concept of LttP was that it was a prequel to the original two Zelda games. Still quite interesting, though, as are the other 5 parts of this retrospective.
- Best way to play Zelda: Twilight Princess - That's right, three Zelda links in a row! And this accessory, though most likely just a homemade thing, is AWESOME.
- Emulators on the Wii - Oops!
- The secrets of the sensor bar - Conspiracy!!
- Taco Bell wants your PS3 - Got a PS3? Want tacos? You, my friend, are in luck!
- Sony might charge third party publishers for demos - Sony: "Why, hello foot!" *BANG*
- Wii Sports cover - Just slip into a white DVD case and, bam! You're set! Or buy one from Nintendo or some demo disc you can supposedly get from Target.
- Mario on Forbes Fictional 15 - Mario is now the 15th richest fictional character! Once again... Luigi gets shafted. I call shenanigans!
- Wii Accessories - The Power Station caught my eye.
- Wii composite vs component - See photos of Wii games through both and see the difference.
- Kojima misses the rumble - And other thoughts about Metal Gear Solid 4 in this interview.
- A Wii Workout: When Video Games Hurt - When video games hurt?? Call Jack Thompson, ASAP!!
- Over 600,000 Wii's served - That's a lot of Wii's.
- Real Master Sword! - That is one nice sword.
- Bronze Dreamcast Controller - Ahh, memories... my precious Dreamcast. *sniff*
- The Daily Drawing: Mario/Metroid - Boy, I wish I could draw.
- Wario Ware Smooth Moves clip - This game looks like a ton of fun.
- Wii RetroPorts - These will allow you to use your original NES and SNES controllers with the Wii!
- Tree of Life - This is a pretty amazing chart.
- Metalosis Maligna - A ficticious documentary about a disease that spawns the growth of metal flesh... kind of weird and interesting, but pretty well-made. Warning, slightly graphic at a few spots.
- Bird's-Eye-View Photographs - I love pictures like these... some are truly amazing.
- Blue tape + car + road trip = uh... this - Lots'a pictures, be aware!
- Double Wires - This game has awful graphics and no sound, but it's still a lot of fun. Think Spiderman.
- Rollerman - This. Is. AWESOME.
- Lots of small explosions - Last one is the best.
- Lego City - This is pretty unbelievable.
- Wizard of Oz + Dark Side of the Moon - Apparently you can play that album along with Wizard of Oz and it fits strangely well. Coincidence? Here's a video of the two together, you be the judge.
- Toothpick trick - I really wanna try this now. Here is more detailed information on doing this.
- Animator vs Animation II - First one rocked, this one is even better.
- Tone Deaf - A really interesting musical test. I didn't do as well as I hoped, but I did alright. It's toughter than you would think!
- 7:35 in the morning - This is an... interesting independent film.
- Hyperactive Machine - Remember that Hyperactive video linked before? Now you can make your own! ...kinda!
- Kitten Cannon - The name of this game says it all! My best score was 1,003 ft.
- Slow Motion - Lots of stuff slowed down to super slow motion, and look really awesome.
- Judge rules paper money unfair to the blind - Wait, what?
And look! That's me! Alas, no reviews yet.

This picture was too good not to post. It's animated, though, so click it to see the real thing!
This device looks interesting. It took me a while to figure out what this does, but the basics of it seem to be that it hooks them together plus has a little wired remote, and when someone calls you, it pauses the iPod automatically and, if the phone has Caller ID, displays their name on the iPod. That's pretty nifty... something I could have used SEVERAL YEARS AGO when I listened to my iPod while walking across campus. As it is now, I mainly use my iPod in the car through a tape adapter, so that doesn't do me much good...
...unless...
The tape adapter DOES plug into the headphone jack of my iPod... and if that means I would have something to pause it whenever someone called me...
My God, this might be just the thing! We'll see, though.
Another link that deserves special attention is Meebo. Want to IM someone but don't have that program handy? This is an EXCELLENT site that lets you sign on all sorts of different services, right from your browser window. It works amazingly well, and I'm very impressed with it.

- Wii-mote vs Television - Ouch. I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later.
- USAF Short on Nintendo Whee - I can't tell you how hard it is to hold back my snickering.
- Sony's new PSP push - Hasn't anyone told them yet?
- Safarp - This is a much quicker alternative to the normal Windows Add/Remove Programs. Highly recommended!
- Zamzar - A very easy-to-use online file converting site. Though it's limited in size by 100mb, and you need to upload the file plus be able to receive it in an e-mail, it's a very nice idea. The one thing its missing, though, is the one format I've strugged with converting the most: WPS (MS Works format) to... well... ANYTHING. Microsoft Works' WPS format is such a pain in the butt, it astonishes me to no degree its incompatibility with ANYTHING else. Note to Works users: Don't EVER save in this format. Save in .doc if you can, and if not, then .rtf, when I KNOW it will save as.
- Ten Most Used BitTorrent Sites Compiled - Wow, I haven't even heard of a number of these, including the top one, BTJunkie, but I checked it out, and I can see why it's the most popular. Its speed and selection really put Mininova.org (my previous main source) to shame... especially the speed part.
- IE7: Move Classic Menu to the top - Put those menus where they belong! This was something IE7 did that bothers a lot of people, including myself. Note: If you didn't already know, and some people might not, is that after you save it as Toolbar.reg, you have to then double-click on the file wherever you saved it (or if that's not the default command, right-click and choose Merge).

Sony/Microsoft campers vs Nintendo campers
Caution: Colorful language alert!
I wasn't in lines for the former, but I DID camp out for the Nintendo Wii, and I can pretty much verify that that's very much the truth. There was nobody in the entire line that caused a problem, not one single argument, everyone got along fantastically. We really abandoned the whole concept of a "line", just more or less remembering what position we were in, and nobody objected. That's good stuff, right there.
Oh, and nobody robbed us. That's a good thing, too.

Should we officially dub this "Launch week"?
# posted by Chronodin @ 2:36 PM
Oh my, exciting couple of days.
You've most likely heard of all that's been going down with the Playstation 3's launch the other day. There have been at least several thefts, including a report about someone getting stabbed and someone else getting shot in the chest, people getting trampled, backwards compatibility issues and, of course, defects in the consoles, mostly related to displaying in certain resolutions with certain TV and... well... not doing it. As a friend mentioned the other day, is anyone really surprised?
Speaking of non-surprises, prices of the console on eBay have skyrocketed, with reports that the average price is over $2500, some even more (as much as $15,000 I've read), and there are others that are a little more suspect.
As far as other stuff regarding Sony's $600 brick, Gamespy has put together a page with much of the information you may or may not be looking for.
And finally in regards to the games, the reviews are coming in, and they're not that impressive. That's a lot of red on that last one, Sony.
In OTHER news, you probably noticed that I put a banner in the top corner there for the band Machinae Supremacy, which some of you already know is my favorite band. No, I didn't sell out, I'm not getting paid for it. Just trying to support a band that deserves the recognition, is all. Plus that space was empty and needed something! I might put another banner there, but it certainly wouldn't be for anything except that which I would support strongly. Your thoughts on that? Would you rather just have black space there, or a banner? Let me know!
The reason I thought to do that, though, is because the new version of their last album, Redeemer, came in today, and I'm listening to it right now as I type this post. They added a bit, took a bit off, and the CD features new, cleaner, better-mixed versions of the songs. I'm loving it so far.
Enough of that! On to the links!

- Forbes likes the Wii - That's a potentially dangerous headline...
- How many PS3s sold in Japan? - And, incidently, how many games?
- Sony confuses owners with DIY battery replacement - Sooo... they said they'd do it for free, but JUUUUST in case, they're telling us how? Hmmm...
- EA opens mouth, inserts both feet - This has got to be one of the stupidest moves a game company has made.
- Nintendo: Format war is totally unfair - He's got a point.
- More Wii Experience videos - Nice.
- The Nintendo WIIIIIIIIIIIII! - Remember the "Nintendo Sixty-FOUUUUUUUUR!!" video this is parodying?
- The Oculis - I don't get it... anyone have any clue what this is?
- Shuttle launch photos from space - Wow, this is pretty cool.
- Tom's Trap-o-Matic - This is a neat game featuring Tom and Jerry and building one of those elaborate mouse traps these cartoons are so well-known for.
- Rifftrax - Remember Mystery Science Theater 3000? This is by the same guy, doing the same thing. They're audio recordings you can listen to while watching movies for the commentary. I haven't done it yet, but certainly plan on it, as I'm sure it'd be very entertaining! Unfortunately, you do have to pay for them, but it's not gonna break the piggy bank at about $3 each.

Rather, the links you see to the left in varying sections. I just added a new one, and I thought I would give each one some clarification and attention.
NerdCentral Links
- Site Feed - This little doohicky is quite handy if you use a news reader. Anytime NerdCentral is updated, it'll show up on there. I just recently began using a news reader, and it's truly a blessing if you have numerous sites that you check. Right now, I have 186 unread updates to plow through, 124 of which are from Kotaku alone. And now you know where I get a lot of my gaming links. :)
- Message Board - Does anyone ever check this anymore? I think the last post was by me a few months ago. Oh well, it's still there if anybody decides to use it. And if there IS activity, let me know! I don't check it too often for said reasons, but I would certainly do so if people were actually, y'know, posting.
- Remixes - My remixes, to be specific. They're not in any particular order, but they will be once I have enough for my "album" that I'm working on. If you like any of them, let me know! Feedback is very much appreciated.
- MySpace - I've never been a big fan of MySpace, but it is a nice place for bands or other music creators such as myself to post samples of their work for easy access. That's all I really use it for.
- Contact Me! - Wanna e-mail me? Here's your chance.
- Gaming Out Loud - This is the link I just added. It's a fairly new site started by a good friend of mine that features a video podcast and different game-related updates. The site's very well-made, funny and generally entertaining, and I suggest you give it a look-see.
- Penny Arcade - Best gaming webcomic. Period.
- Googleshng's Page - Another site belonging to a good friend. He's had this site up for a long time now, and the real gem of this site is the Rants section. I suggest you check this one out, as well.
- SteelerBlog.com - If you like the Steelers, this is the page for you. If you don't like them, ah, you might want to steer clear. Just sayin'.
- FireBack.net - Yet another site by a good friend... at least, it was, but it appears to be down at the moment. Not sure what's up, but if it turns out the site is down for good, I'll take the link down. I'll let you know if I find out it's back up, though.
- The IUP Marching Band - The Beast of the East! The I... U... P... Marching... Band! Gotta have pride in your alma mater, and the marching band at IUP was one of the highlights of my college career. Check 'em out, and while you're at it, you can find some videos of their performances on YouTube.
Pictures and stuff!
- OCReMix - An excellent source for video game remixes... the best and biggest on the web, to my knowledge. Though I don't always agree with their criteria for selecting remixes to be posted, there are some fantastic ones on the site.
- Remix: ThaSauce - This is another remix site that isn't nearly as big as OCR just yet, but it's growing, and the criteria are less strict, and more limited to simply, "enjoyable to listen to," dangling participle and all. I highly recommend checking this site out and supporting it
- Googleshng's Page - Same as above, but with a nifty graphic! I'm not sure how I ended up with two links to this, but it ain't hurtin' nobody.
- Live House SSH - Alas, the site is in Japanese, but if you can make your way to the MP3 section, then your ears will thank you. I BELIEVE it's just one person, but I could be wrong... either way, highly recommended.
- 5/4 Takepod - Another artist/group similar to SSH, though slightly different style. Both have some video game covers, which is what initially drew me to them, I should mention.

...and his name that sat on him was Death, and the Playstation 3 followed with him.
The PS3 is going to be a dealbreaker for Sony. Plagued with a massive battery recall and in the midst of releasing what is arguably the most expensive R&D video game system of all time, Sony needs to make the Playstation 3 a commercial success. Some analysts predict that the Cell processor technology that Sony has brought to the craps table will take until 2012 to pull a profit. Oy.
They might be right.
There has been a lot of talk about Sony's console numbers a week ahead of their landmark release. A lot of it has been negative. Just to independently verify all of this negativity, I pulled the strings of a few of my retail buddies to see exactly what their inventory will look like on release day.
Anemic is the answer.
My informant at Circuit City says that they're receiving "a couple." He stressed that it would be fewer than the Xbox 360 release, but wouldn't go into numbers. When the Xbox 360 was released, they received seven units. A gentleman I know at GameStop said that he received an invoice for four units, but he "expected to get cut." In the retail world, the warehouse reserves the right to adjust, or "cut," an invoice to balance inventory amongst stores based on volume. EB Games refused to answer the question - I was told to "show up and wait in line with other Playstation fans." Best Buy has not yet received an invoice for any Playstation 3 units. Wal-Mart clammed up, claiming that they wouldn't know until release day. Target flat-out refused to answer, stating that "our video gaming customers will be pleased with our offering." I thought about stopping at K-Mart, but kept driving.
The area I live in has a metropolitan population of approximately 120,000. And in that metropolis, out of all the retail giants I asked, there are only six units confirmed allocated. I don't mean to discourage anyone, but by all means, use this as a yardstick to determine whether or not you want to wait in line for Sony's nextgen.
But, if you're still determined, I wish you good luck. Bring a tent and three days' ration of food. 3 comments links to this post

Clearin' out the backlogs

Whew, a good amount of links to catch up on today. Hope none of them are too outdated! Or, for that matter, not functional.
If you come across a dead link (and this applies anytime, really), please do inform me, and I'll either find the correct link or take it down altogether. This goes for older posts, as well (in which case I'll probably just remove the link tag and mention that the link is outdated), since I rarely check old links. And for good measure, I thought I'd throw in one or two more parenthetical statements (since the paragraph had so many [but no nested parenthetical statements... time to fix that!]) for good measure (couldn't hurt).
*cough*
This is nothing really too surprising, more of the same kind of answers we expected regarding Nintendo's Virtual Console. Only thing interesting to me was what I had read before but didn't know if it was true, that being that each VC game you download will occupy its own Wii Channel slot, and can be rearranged as you want. I figure we'll have to try it out to really determine if this is a problem or if it works just fine.
That being said, that seems to be a line that has been used in regards to Nintendo many many times in the past. Zelda: The Wind Waker comes to mind. "Just give it a shot... trust us." The Nintendo DS, too, and look how both of those turned out. Some people, including myself, are a bit concerned about it because it sounds like a dumb move, but I say to give them a chance. I really believe that changing that would have been an easy thing to do if they thought it was a problem. The fact that they're implementing it this way means one of two things: 1) laziness, and 2) it isn't an issue. I really doubt that it's due to laziness.
Though I wish there was a way to play some of the games smoother than before... oh well. It's been way too long since playing Goldeneye or Perfect Dark multiplayer, and I'm chompin' at the bits to try it.
And lovely how my blog posting program, which had just updated, decided to stop letting me type or copy or delete or do anything to my post after I inserted that image. The program is called, incidently, Performance. Kind of like Microsoft Works, am I right??? So I had to finish this update using Blogger's web-based, uh, updater, which is still relatively painless.
One last thing! I have Guitar Hero II and it, pardon the pun, rocks. And speaking of which, my band name is "Tumbling Pumice." I know, clever, isn't it? If you have it or have at least played it, let me know what you think! What's your favorite track thus far?
Okay, another last thing. I originally just had this as one of the links, but it was too good not to show you the whole picture. Click on the picture for the link I originally had for it.

Click on the picture for the link I originally had for it.

.:[ Gaming Links ]:.
- "Trogdor" being played on Guitar Hero II - The hard part about this one is going to be playing it without laughing. (Update, since I have GH2 now... yes, the hardest part IS playing it without laughing)
- N-Gage... Lives! - And a thousand points to Kotaku for the best N-Gage-related picture ever.
- Guide to finding a Wii at launch - In case you missed the pre-orders thus far, like me.
- The Official Warcraft Encyclopedia - Very interesting, but lacking one important thing, and this may sound silly at first, but I think you'll agree: pictures! Where are all the stinkin' pictures??
- Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess impressions - The author of this article got to spend about 9 hours on the game, and had a lot of great stuff to say. It looks like the only bad thing about it is that it might be TOO long for some gamers. But is that really a bad thing?
- Guitar Hero II review - I'm picking mine up today!! (Update: Sigh, I meant to post this BEFORE getting the game.) (And here is a breakdown of some of their favorite and least favorite tracks... boy, I like those parentheses today, huh?)
- Interview with Nintendo of America localization producer/manager - In other words, one of the guys that brings Japanese games to North America.
- More strange PS3 commercials - I think the only message Sony is getting across is that by purchasing a PS3, you're selling your soul to the Lord of Darkness.
- Wii Sports looks better - Good show, Nintendo.
- Reggie talks about the Wii - No more secrets, he says.
- Nintendo DS Guitar - While this seems kind of neat, is there really any advantage to this? It looks kind of limiting, too.
- Gears of War living up to the hype - It's getting a lot of very good reviews.
- Atari founding likes 360, disses PS3 - And something I didn't know is that he also started Chuck E. Cheese!
- PS3 taking on EVERYTHING - Well, the iPod and YouTube at least. Interesting side note! Did you know that one of the founders of YouTube graduated from my college? It's true!
- First US Wii commercial - Red Steel! Some others thought this commercial was kind of silly, but I got a kick out of it.
- VG Cats: "V for Vendetta" comic - I really liked this movie, and if you've seen it, you'll appreciate this comic about a billion times as much. If you haven't seen it, well, use your imagination and fake your laughter.
- "Joey's Crash" - Why you don't let 14-year olds ANYWHERE NEAR $50,000 CARS.
- Animatronic human sculpture in bronze and stainless steel - These are kinda neat.
- Fake or Foto? - This "real or CGI" quiz is tougher than you may think.
- Qwerty Warriors - Fun typing game.
- Scientists to create human-cow chimera? - There's a bad pun to be made here somewhere...
- Kinetic Art - THIS is truly amazing! And requires about a thousand times more patience than I will ever have. But it's still very awesome.
- You can't outrun a roadblock - People's stupidity amazes me. Especially the ones who try this crap with KIDS in the car. Sigh.
- Neighboroo - Gives you detailed information and breakdown about specific areas of the US using a Google map. It's more interesting than it sounds, really.
- First question wrong on Millionaire - I guess he didn't want to be a millionaire.
- Sling - Fun little game.
- Tank - Interesting single- or multiplayer game.

My computer works again!
...and I have no idea why. But I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth.
And to celebrate its resurrection, I give you the first poster for the Castlevania movie! Behold!

And, hey, maybe it's just me, but I liked Alien vs. Predator and Resident Evil. I'm not too worried about it, unlike some people who think Anderson is God-awful. And look at it this way... at least it isn't Uwe Boll making it. /shudder

Technical difficulties

Hey all, just letting you know that my computer is currently... shall we say, less than functional. I had a bunch of links on there that, obviously, I can't get to right now. At the moment I'm using my laptop, so I'm able to post at least, and I should still be able to post until I get the main computer up and running, but I wanted to throw that out there just in case. Once things are back to normal, I shall let you know! I'll keep you posted... *snicker*
So, along those lines, if you want to know how I feel with my computer, just use this screensaver!
And also: here is a kind of concept music video. This guy incorporates a drum set and piano, neither of which he can play.

Every once in a while, a zinger from Hollywood's dusty past makes a blip on the radar screen before mysteriously vanishing once again. Tom Wilson, of Biff Tannen fame in the Back to the Future Trilogy, recently received some Internet notoriety for a little song and dance number he performed at a comedy show. Apparently he just released a CD entitled Tom Wilson Is Funny!
He also starred with Mark Hamill in Wing Commander III. Who knew.
I'm the new guy that was mentioned a post back or so. My name's Rick. Nice to meet you. 0 comments links to this post

The Post of Mistakes
# posted by Chronodin @ 11:34 PM
I decided to title this post as such because of a few blunders of the gaming news community... none on my own part, mind you! But a few incidents where a particularly hopeful news story was run, and then shortly after debunked. I set them together nice and neat right there at the top of the list for you to see.
But before that...
As you may or may not know, I've been pretty into Heroes... enthralled, even. But alas, if you haven't been watching it, you might be a little confused if you started now. Fear not! This site will help you out, as it has links to LOTS of different episodes from current and old TV shows, such as, of course, Heroes. It doesn't seem to have every single episode yet, but it has the first four or so (yes, I could check right now while typing this up, but I'm not going to! And you can't make me. So there.) and I suspect more will appear. First four is a great start to the series, though, so if you've missed it thus far, I highly recommend you start. It's really a show that anybody can enjoy, and if you're one of those people who aren't fond of sci-fi (ahem, you know who you are!) I still think you'll like it. The focus is mostly on character development, while the characters try to figure out what's going on. Very well-done, and not in the steak kind of well-done, either. Well, except for one part.
I found the link in particular, though, to every episode of the old show, Captain N: The Game Master, which in retrospect is a much worse show than I remember, but oh well. I'm not recommending you start watching that, but hey, it's there for nostalgia's sake if nothing else.

What's NOT a conspiracy, however, is thatthe staff of NerdCentral will be growing someone else will be joining me as a poster to NerdCentral. Yes, I know there WAS someone else, but he has gotten distracted, it seems. ;) No, he's not fired, and you might hear from him again! But in the meantime, the new poster will be making his presence known anytime now, just working out a few behind-the-scenes technical things. You know, contractual negotiations, background checks, that sort of thing.
Remix(es) of the Day: Bad Dudes EP - This actually isn't one remix, but rather an album of them, and as it turns out, none of these remixes are from Bad Dudes. What, like you can actually think of any tunes from that game? Donating is optional (and encouraged, apparently) but you can download the album for free, provided you find the link on the page. Or provided someone else doesn't provide it for you. Whoops.

- New Smash Bros. characters coming! - Who could they beeee? Wait a second...
- Nevermind that last one - Drat. Internet jumped the gun again.
- EB Games to cancel PS3 pre-orders planned for eBay - Good, I say. The eBaying new systems thing has gotten really out of hand.
- Nevermind that one, too... - Good job, internet. That's twice, now.
- Wii to output at 720p? - It'd be pretty sweet if true.
- Aaaaand... that makes three - Looks like we're stuck with just 480p. At least the internet didn't screw up this time... The Official Nintendo Magazine did. *snicker*
- Rumor: Best Buy Wii Launch Numbers and PS3s Not Ordered Yet - Uh oh...
- More Wii secrets coming? - What else could there be??
- Halo game unable to get off the ground - I'm surprised Microsoft hasn't just started their own movie production company. Heck, Vince McMahon did it, why not Bill Gates?
- No Metal Slug for GBA - I didn't even know they were making this collection, but that sucks. Unless perhaps they're going to do a similar collection for DS instead? Then that would make sense. Here's hopin'.
- "Kraid" Improvisation - This is a video of someone playing Kraid's theme from Metroid on the piano, then simply improving on the melody. Really cool.
- MC Pee Pants disses Kingdom Hearts II - Yes, that's what he's called. Don't ask me. And be aware of some choice language in this, but I had to link it because it IS pretty funny.
- Top 10 Portable Flops - A few I've never heard of.
- Huge Wal-Mart Wii Buyer's Guide - Hmm, I should pick one of these up.
- Wii Virtual Console opening line-up - There are quite a few I was hoping for that didn't make this list, but that gives me something to look forward to, I suppose. I'm sure they'll come.
- Disney wants more Kingdom Hearts NOW - The great Disney hath spoketh.
- US Final Fantasy III DS site - Woo!
- A little shuffling for Wii launch line-up - I think I can live without Blazing Angels.
- Circuit City and Comp USA employees also banned from buying PS3 or Wii - Order given by short man with a little black mustache. No, not Mario. Also banned are minorities and people whose names start with a vowel.
- Ridge Racer 7 going to take up 7gb of PS3 hard disk - You gotta be freakin' KIDDING.
- Zelda updated impressions - Good stuff to say.
- Japan getting more Virtual Console games - :( I guess the good news is that it means these games can't be far behind for us.
- Incredible "Freebird" Guitar Hero 2 video - Forget what you've seen before... this song is a true test of endurance. At 9 minutes totaly, after about 5 or so, it takes off and doesn't stop until the end. Kotaku's rather colorful description of the video is pretty spot on.
- Yahoo's Wii page - Pretty nice resource, plus a countdown clock, which I was very tempted to steal and put on here. But as we all know, stealing is wrong... right?
- Being Peter Molyneux - An interesting interview with one of the industry's more innovative minds.
- Throwable controllers patented - Do we REALLY need a video game version of "Catch"?
- Wireless 360 headset sold early - Oops!
- Opening video to Twilight Princess - Ooooooh...
- Phase Toy - This music generator might be the coolest thing I've ever seen.
- Make your MacBook cooler - This is something MacBook users (such as myself) could definitely use.
- Flying Carpet patent refused - Aww.
- Video game exhibition - Wasn't sure if this should be under Gaming Links or not, but it is kind of one of those things that could be for non-gamers, too, so here is where I put it. Kinda neat.
- LineRider... now with an Undo button - Just what this thing needed!
- Scribble - Fun Connect the Dots-type games.
- Sketch your furniture in the air - Cool!
- Pumpking Carving flash - Who cares if it's past Halloween already??
- VGCats Pumpking Carvings - How do some people get so good at this??
- Best actor ever - If you can't get credit in my store... *awkward pause*... you can't get credit anywhere!
- Spitting archerfish - Ninja sniperfish is more like it.
- Music Box - This is a neat program, but kinda frustrating regardless.
- Kissing Fish body art - This isn't as dirty as it sounds, and actually kinda cool.
What's NOT a conspiracy, however, is that
